Handy Tool: Habit Forging

My middle stepdaughter just introduced me to a great little website that helps create a private accountability online for attempting to change habits.

The link is http://www.habitforge.com/ and it is the simplest idea ever. They allow you to set up a free account, set a single goal like "Eat fresh fruit every day" or "Exercise for 30 minutes every day" and they send you an email asking if you met your goal. They keep track of how many days you have successfully met your goal on a little graph. If you answer "no" they wipe the graph clean and you start over.

You can select whether or not to receive encouragement from others who have similar goals in health, fitness, finances, but everything is on a first-name basis. You can also choose to have a reminder come up every few days just for you to remind you of the reason for your attempts at developing your new habit (which you fill out when you sign on). Very effective feedback.

So...

For holiday health, spending and facing the end of a year and starting a fresh one, you may want to check out this little tool for helping form new, good habits in your lifestyle.

  1. What I like most about this site is the book they sell: The Principles of Successful Manifesting! I have always wanted to be successful in my manifesting. I'm glad to know that somehow I can be.
