Did you know your house talks? It does. Every room has a voice and a name. Some rooms have names like "Play Room" or "Family Room" while others have names like "Whatever" or "I Haven't Decided Yet."
Walk into any room in your house and let the room speak to you. What does it say about you and your household? Does it reflect your culture--your values and personality? Or does it send a mixed message of uncertainty?
Names and voices are a big deal. You have a name. You have a voice. Your name may be shared by other people but your voice is your own. It reflects all the deep, important values you hold dear, it resounds with your beliefs, and it bubbles with the activity of what's currently going on in your life.
Homes do the same thing. They speak of you, your values, your personality and current activities. What is your house saying to others about you? Is it an accurate representation of you and your household?
Take a moment and listen. What is your home saying?

I absolutely love this blog! What a creative perspective Sheri gives on our everyday lives. It makes me want to be more intentional about not only my environment but about all the details of my life. In fact, I guess you could say that Sheri breathes life into those places that have withered and possibly even died. For that, I thank her.
