Dreams, Faith, and Hope

Okay, bear with me, as I am just beginning to stew and process my way through this line of thinking. Perhaps you will have comments to make that will help the idea gel.

We heard a speaker at work this past week, Lynette Lewis, who said, "A dream in motion attracts provision."

There was almost an audible sucking in of air when she said it. That one little sentence had so much sauce on it when she said it, that all us were impacted. I've been thinking about it ever since.

Is it even possible to dream unless you have faith? Think about it: "Now faith is the evidence of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1 ) Things hoped for . . .  isn't that a dream in some sense? And without hope, how could you dream?

I'm still tumbling these questions and ideas around in my head, but it seems to me that if you have no hope, a dream can die. But resurrection is always a possibility when faith is renewed. It's almost as though faith, hope, and dreams are so intertwined that one cannot survive without the other.

Any thoughts out there? I'd love to hear from you.
